On Tuesday, October 28 2008 I finally received the promotion that I have been looking to get at work. It's great but the unfortunate thing is that I won't be able to blog very often because of it (for the next week, or so). I am currently trying to learn our profit system at work, which as I've discovered requires a bit of "after-work" work. Check back in a few days for a new post!

- I'm very philosophical – thus my picture. I referee and play football (soccer). I love working with the younger referees and players trying to help them be the best the can be. To me nothing beats seeing a kid with a huge smile on their face when they succeeded at something. As a football referee, I have aspirations of becoming a FIFA official. I have heard many rumors, including that I am a national prospect, but I am doing my best to ignore them. I have no problems admitting that I have a bit of an ego – but I refuse to allow that ego to control who I am. I also play rugby, and I run marathons and absolutely love long distance cycling.
